Ah, the end of "Retribution" is cruel. Archie is my favorite... Sigh. But what an act, to give up one's life for a person who is special to you.

Did he really push the captain down the ladder? I just... cannot see him doing that. Maybe I picture him to be too innocent, I do not know. But then who else would have done it? I cannot see Horatio doing it either.

But that captain was a bastard, nevertheless.

Crikey, atleast Archie died while in Horatio's arms (I am exaggerating) and did not have to hang. That would have been terrible.

I was not pleased with the entrance of that female character. Oh, I cannot even remember her name, so like it really matters, but... Archie just looked so forlorn when Horatio went off to see her without telling Archie where he was going. Ah, well. She's dead, Archie's dead, so it really does not matter anymore :P.

I do find it interesting that Mr. Bush is Horatio's senior, but, if I am not mistaken, Mr. Bush comes to serve as a lieutenant under Horatio in the future, does he not? That is what I think I remember from an older Horatio Hornblower version.

Anyway, I am going to go start reading Billy Budd, so... perhaps I will have something else to talk about tomorrow besides Horatio ^_^;.

Though I am rather taken with him. Well, not him, but the series itself. Though I have adopted his "That is an insulting remark. And for that I must demand satisfaction," speech ^_^;. Ian has too, replying with "Never on this side of hell." He is the one that insults me often of course, though usually all in fun.
