On Friday night, we did see LoEG, and liked it so much that we (my dad, Ian, and I) saw it again the next day.

Dorian was a sexy monster. His "growl" made me squee and giggle like a pre-teen fangirl.

I did not mind Tom. I rather liked him, in fact. Before the movie started, I thought his insertion into the League was going to be stupid, as he was American and all, but he was actually quite cool.

Skinner was majorly cool as well. And Mina too, just like I thought she would be.

This just goes to show you that some things can surprise you. Because I am familiar with the comic book series, I thought this movie was going to be horrible, but it was actually great.

Oh--added bonus: I received a LoEG poster and bookmark at the theater, because the folks working there were giving them away. Very neato. I hung the poster in my room.

After we saw that on Saturday, we drove to another theater and saw Pirates of the Caribbean, and that was really amazing. I am sort of partial to pirates and zombies, though.

I think the best bloody part was when Elizabeth runs onto the deck after having dinner with Barbados and sees all of the sailors in their zombified glory. 'Twas very cool, indeed.

I did not mind Elizabeth, but I was not overly fond of Will. He did not make me want to gag or anything, but I think someone else might have fit the part better.

Jack Sparrow was a god, however. He was just the coolest, his gestures, words, etc. I loved the fight scene between Jack and Barbossa. I will see this movie again soon.
