09.08.03 at 9:17 PM New car ^___^ I got my new car today! It is a 2003 4-door, indigo-colored Toyota Echo, and it is really neat! I happen to like really little cars, and this is the smallest I could find. Also, Echoes have received a lot of great reviews in magazines and so forth. The visibility is great on it, and it is much higher from the ground than most other small cars. And the breaks are senstive! While this is a turn-off for most, it is a plus for me! ^_^ It stinks of new car smell, but that is, of course, to be expected. But it is really roomy and comfortable inside. I am excited! The only thing I am going to have to get used to is the speedometer: it is not located behind the steering wheel like on most cars, but to the right a little and higher. It is not that big of a deal, though. ...Well, actually, I do not have the car at my house now. It is still at the car dealership, and I am picking it up tomorrow morning before I go to my grandma's house. On other news, I have to write some more horoscopes for my school's newspaper, a review for Pirates of the Caribbean, and make up a crossword puzzle. Yes, I am stuck doing all of the filler. But I am not really complaining. It is easy work. My dad just bought Kenny a Game Cube because the Super Nintendo just died on us. Well, it had to go sometime, so my dad got the Game Cube to replace it. Kenny seems to like it. It came with four free games, two Mario games, a Zelda game, and some other game whose title I do not remember. Kenny's favorite Super Nintendo games were Mario games, so this works out well. Anyway, I am going to go read a little in Ros and Guil Are Dead. I kind of wanted to add more to his entry, but I will do so after I see my grandparents tomorrow. -Leah |
