Lots of movies.

My dad and I went to Barnes and Noble this morning to laze about and purchase books. I received a book on reading heiroglyphics, a book on Atlantis, and a set of cassette tapes on beginner's Latin. Afterwards, we went to Panera for lunch. Then we went to Hollywood Video because there were a couple movies I wanted to rent.

The first was Gacey. I watched it, and I do not think it was as freaky as Dahmer, simply because there was hardly any sexual violence in it. I really had expected more. I mean, it was still painful to watch, but... eh. I probably would not want to see it again. Why do I watch all these serial killer movies? I do not know.

The final movie I rented was House of 1000 Corpses, the Rob Zombie flick. Well, it was indeed very Rob Zombie. The beginning was all to be expected from him, but the further the movie went along, it become more gruesome than what I had expected. Sort of freaky. I liked the feeling that I did not know what was going to happen to the characters: whether they would get away or be... eh, experimented on *shudder* But it was very freaky.

Phew. Anyway, a few weeks ago, my aunt Kate lent me a whole stack of Johnny Depp tapes, and I have not had the time to get to them until today. I picked up Edward Scissorhands first, never having seen it and yet knowing that it is an acclaimed classic. I started watching it, and about halfway through, I was just thinking, "Oh, lordy, this is so great." I rushed downstairs and told my dad that he must watch it with me, as he had never seen it either. I rewound the tape and watched it from the beginning with my dad. Sigh. Damn the conformists. Damn them all. *huggles Edward*

And I have really done nothing else today. Well, I went to the grocery store, but that does not count :P.

I am going to try to finish up watching all these Johnny Depp movies tomorrow. I guess I will have to put off cleaning my room until next weekend. Or the weekend after that... or the weekend after that...
