My mother is insisting that I apply to Notre Dame as well. Sigh. I have not even finished with my University of Michigan essays. I am almost finished with one of them, though. I will post it for you guys to read when I am done.

Just a few moments ago, I was watching a movie on TV called The Triumph of Love. I was flipping channels, and stopped when I saw clothing from the late 1700s. Then, what next caught my eye was one of the female characters being wooed by another female, who was dressed as a boy. She would be the protagonist of the story. Oh, their names are French, and I could not bear to spell them if I tried, but the movie was so interesting. I liked how the main character was making several other characters fall in love with her, both male and female.

I feel asleep sometime around three this afternoon and did not wake up until six. I did not mean to take a nap, but I was laying down and listening to music, and I could not control myself, I guess. I only got 5 and 1/2 hours of sleep last night, and I was nearly falling asleep in church this morning, so the nap made up for my lack of sleep. Yoga teaches that you should only need 5 or 6 hours of sleep, or something like that. Ha! I have timed myself, actually. I require exactly 9 hours of sleep to feel good in the morning and work to my best potential. Any less than that, and I am tired or bored during the day. Any more than that, then I feel lazy and sluggish during the day. Nine is good for me.

Anyway, I really should get to bed.
