Well, we talked about college and career for the most part.

Several minutes into the reading, I heard Ted in the living room playing with one of Kenny's light up lazer gun things, and I was trying desperately not to laugh.

Near the end, Ted came in the room and told us that there was a spirit in our presence, and Debra told me it was a great-grandfather or great-great-grandfather. He just said to be strong, to overcome obstacles, and all that fun stuff.

See, Ted can see spirits but can't communicate wih them, andd Debra can't see them but can communicate with them. Nice pair ^_~

At the end, Ted gave me a healing treatment, and he said I had a huge amount of energy around my heart. I was like, "No way; I was taking chakra classes, and my heart chakra was the only one I couldn't feel." Weird... Maybe I just wasn't feeling for my heart chakra correctly... Ted is so nice, though.

Last night, from 7-9, we were allowed to ask one question for free, and she would answer. I asked a mega general question and received a mega general answer ^____^ I asked what my purpose in this lifetime was. The replied is as follows:

"Leah, your question is answered by Ishmael through Debra:

Her main purpose is to be a co-creator in the world. To live a life in which she best utilizes herself. Her sole purpose is to do justice to herself, meaning, to create a life in which she could use her abilities to good use and to contribute to others the best way that she can. Though there are many ways in which she can do this for mankind she must find what she feels she can share with the world. Only she knows the answer. She must make the choice as it is her purpose to be independent and make choices for herself.

This is the lifetime in which you can shine. Do not hide yourself. Look within for the best choices to make for yourself and this will show you that you have accepted the truths that are within yourself. Know thyself. Create the reality that best suits you. This is your purpose to know who you are and what you can contribute. Seek and you shall find and if you would do the meditation you will find that you will discover many more things about yourself and what you can do. Go in peace."

I love that "if" when talking about meditating. When I read that, I was like, "Ouch, Ishmael." And that is because in yoga class, my mind has wandered so much during meditation, and it has been difficult for me to concentrate on the meditation at hand. However, I just finished up with Foundation II, so now I am in Foundation III, which revolves around meditation. Hopefully I will become better at it. I am going to find some meditations in some books that I like, and tonight and tomorrow I will read them, recording my voice onto a cassette tape so I will be able to do the meditations. Hopefully that will help, Ishmael :P. ...^_^

Dad just bought me a new book: Daughters of Darkness: Lesbian Vampire Stories edited by Pam Keesey. I saw people praising it at Dykewrite so I had to have it.
